Every electrical contractor has the challenge of objectively evaluating the contribution of their workers to ensure they are accurately estimating productivity. This session, presented by a NECA member, will discuss policies to capture data, performance metrics, how to analyze the data and the challenges of implementing performance reviews.

Speaker

  • Gene Conway

    Gene Conway’s IT infrastructure career path has included positions in structured cabling installation, project management, sales, curriculum development and technical training. He has developed and presented over 200 programs on telecommunication topics throughout the United States and in Canada, Mexico and Venezuela.
    Gene has presented programs for: electrical contractor associations, the IBEW, community colleges, BICSI, NECA, government entities and enterprise businesses. He is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and has delivered educational webinars.
    Gene is currently employed as Vice President of Sales for Tricomm Services Corporation, a regional IT infrastructure  contractor.  Gene hold a Bachelors degree from Temple University and is a BICSI Registered Communication Distribution Designer (RCDD).
