This course will provide a preview of the new National Electrical Installation Standards’ Recommended Practice on Power Quality. The latest methods and technologies that can be utilized by electrical contractors to provide these services will be discussed, opening doors to assist current and new customers as they strive to meet the electrical power quality demands of today. |

Charles Mello
Chuck Mello, cdcmello Consulting LLC, received a BS degree in Electrical Power Technology with a co-major in Naval Science from Oregon State University in 1972. Chuck has held NETA Senior Test Technician Certification and NICET Senior Engineering Technician certifications. Chuck also holds a Master Electrician license from the State of Colorado and has held Master Electrician and Electrical Contractor licenses in Louisiana, New Orleans, New Mexico, and Nevada. He is a member of IAEI, IEEE and NFPA and has held positions on Chapter, Section and the International Board of Directors since 1987. Chuck served as the International President for the IAEI in 2011. Chuck has been a student of the National Electrical Code since 1965 and has been a principle member of Code Making Panel 5 since 1996. He is a nationally recognized speaker on the NEC, grounding and bonding, high voltage power systems, electrical safety, and field evaluations.
