Description
Ergonomics can play a significant role in the prevention of musculoskeletal disorders. This session will look at the root causes of these injuries, their costs, job task factors that exacerbate risk and the impact of ergonomics in the development and prevention of these injuries.

Jacob Thomas
Jacob Thomas is a Certified Exercise Physiologist through the American College of Sports Medicine. He has a B.S. in Exercise Science: Biomechanics from the University of Delaware, a Masters of Arts in Teaching from Johns Hopkins University, and has over 90 credit hours completed in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Duquesne University. Jacob is the Ergonomic Specialist at Greenlee and is involved in product design, safety training and education, marketing, and visits customers alongside the Greenlee sales team.
